HDC Current EventsKeep up-to-date with the news, notes and happenings in the life of the Handicapped Development Center. Thanks to Everyone for Participating! The bidding paddles have been put away and the golf scores have been recorded. The HANDS Auxiliary 2010 Cocktail Party/Auction and Golf Outing are now history. The Planning Committee would like to thank everyone who took part in these events through their attendance, sponsorships, donations, bidding, etc. Many people helped to raise a whapping $77,280 for individuals with disabilities served at HDC. Your participation will make a difference in many people's lives! Thank You!! Help Us Win an Office Makeover We are participating in the "Make My Non-Profit Run Better" contest for a chance to win an office technology makeover from RK Dixon--a value of between $5000 and $20,000. All you have to do is vote! The more votes we get, the better chance we have to win! Go to www.rkdixon.com and vote for HDC starting Monday, August 23rd at 8 a.m. through Sunday, August 29th at 5 p.m. Tell your friends, colleagues, neighbors, and anyone else willing to vote for HDC! THANKS TO ALL WHO SUPPORTED THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN The Capital Campaign exceeded the $4.97 million goal and we have YOU to thank! Many people with disabilities are being positively affected by this project. For those of you who recognized the importance of this endeavor and supported it, we are so very grateful. Thank You! Here are a few pictures from inside the new Brady Street building.
Goals for the campaign were to improve and enhance services to individuals served at the Center. The first phase of the campaign was completed with the construciton of the Brady Street building.
