HDC Current EventsKeep up-to-date with the news, notes and happenings in the life of the Handicapped Development Center. The 2011 Booster Organization/Bob Ott Memorial Nut and Candy Sale is just about complete, but a few nuts still remain. We have a small number of various varieties, including cashews and chocolate covered cashews. Home Hardware at 1716 37th St. in Davenport is still selling too. So stop by the Center or Home Hardware and pick up what you need. As we begin 2012, we at HDC want to thank all the people who help us achieve our mission every day. The successes we see and the lives that are changed are only possible because of our committed volunteers, parents, donors, sponsors, and friends. May all of you have a safe and blessed year. The Quad Cities Bicycle Club is having a movie night featuring Bicycle Dreams, and proceeds will come to HDC. The movie is an award-winning documentary about courage, dedication, goals, and the pain some people who participate the Race Across America (RAAM) experience. The movie will show at Rivermont Collegiate, 1821 Sunset Drive, Bettendorf at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 12th. Tickets are $10 (plus a transaction fee) in advance at Get Me Registered or $15 at that door if seats are still available.
