Job Openings for Week of June 23, 2008

We are now accepting applications for summer temporary positions including Resident Aide, Support Staff, and Instructor. 

LPN/RN: Full time and part time position available on 2nd shift.  Responsible for a caseload of residents to monitor and develop health care plans, pass medications, admit/discharge residents and perform resident assessments as needed in a relaxed residential setting.  Must have Iowa License or be able to obtain prior to employment. 

Shift Supervisor: Full-time 2nd or 3rd shift position to provide supervision, scheduling and support to ICF/MR staff. Previous experience in MR/DD setting and supervision required. Schedule will include some weekends and holidays. QMRP and Bachelor's degree preferred, HS Diploma or GED required.

Program Lead: Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring Individual Program Plans and activities for assigned individuals at ICF-MR Residential Center. Position works combination of 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends. HS diploma or GED required, related experience preferred.

Employment Services Supervisor: Part-time position to assist kitchen staff, monitor break room, and provide personal care to individuals with disabilities.  HS Diploma or GED required. 

Personal Independence Instructor: Full-time M-F position responsible for guiding and supervising a caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities.  Instructors implement classroom instruction and activities for individuals and group programming.  Responsibilities also include daily care of participants.  HS Diploma or GED required.  

Personal Independence Aide: Part-time M-F position responsible for guiding and assisting individuals with developmental disabilities.  Responsibilities aslo include daily care of participants.  HS Diploma or GED required.    

PT/OT Aide: Full-time position responsible for day-to-day care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing, and monitoring programs and activities in cooperation with Physical and Occupational Therapy consultants.  Combination of 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends.  Position located at our ICF-MR Residential Center.  Previous experience or education a plus, HS Diploma or GED required.

Recreation Aide: Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring programs and activities for assigned individuals at ICF-MR Residential Center.  Schedule consists of a combination of 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends.  HS diploma or GED required.  

Resident Aide: FT and PT 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions available to assist with and teach independent living skills to children and adults with disabilities in relaxed, residential setting.  Must have HS diploma or GED. 

Support Staff: Part-time 2nd shift positions available assisting individuals with disabilities in group home, apartment, and family home settings with all activities of daily living. Must have HS diploma or GED.

Resident Counselor: Full-time position responsible for overseeing all activities of daily living in group home or apartment settings.  Must be able to work rotating overnight and every other weekend schedule.  Must have HS diploma or GED.
