Job Openings for Week of June 29, 2015

Housekeeper (Float): 1st shift position to float between HDC locations to perform housekeeping duties and floor care. Position will work some weekends and holidays. Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance and transportation. Must have HS Diploma or GED.

Personal Independence Instructor: Full-time 1st shift M-F position responsible for guiding and supervising a caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities. Instructors implement classroom instruction and activities for individual and group programming. Responsibilities also include daily personal care of participants. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Must have HS Diploma or GED.

Housekeeper: Part time weekender (Fri., Sat., Sun.) position available to clean and service the ICF-ID Residential Center. Position will work weekends and holidays. Previous housekeeping, floor care or laundry experience preferred.

Receptionist: Part-time position. Hours include: Monday & Thursday 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Will be responsible for answering telephone, greeting visitors, typing form letters and various reports. Must have experience with Microsoft Office computer programs and must have good grammar and spelling. Previous experience desired. HS Diploma or GED required.

Cook: Full-time 1st shift, hours 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. position available. May include some weekends. Previous cooking and food service experience preferred. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Must have HS Diploma or GED.

LPN/RN: Full time 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available. Responsible for a caseload of residents to monitor and develop health care plans, pass medications, admit/discharge residents and perform resident assessments as needed in a relaxed residential setting. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Must have Iowa license.

Shift Supervisor: Full time 2nd and 3rd shift positions to provide supervision, scheduling and support to residential ICF-ID staff. Previous experience in ID/DD setting and supervision required. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Schedule will include some weekends and holidays. HS Diploma or GED required.

Part- time Job Coach: Part-time position to train, assist and transport adults with disabilities in community job opportunities. Must be able to work flexible schedules including early mornings, holidays and weekends. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, current auto insurance and HS Diploma or GED required.

Program Lead: Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring Individual Program Plans and activities for assigned individuals at ICF-ID Residential Center. Schedule consists of a combination of 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends.Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. HS Diploma or GED required, related experience preferred.

PT/OT Aide: Full-time position responsible for daily care of residents as well as planning, preparing, implementing and monitoring programs and activities in cooperation with the Physical and Occupational Therapy consultants. Schedule consists of a combination of 1st and 2nd shift hours and weekends. Position located at our ICF-ID Residential Center. Previous experience or education a plus. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. HS Diploma or GED required.

Support Staff: Full-time or part-time 2nd shift positions available to assist individuals with disabilities in group home, apartment, or family home settings with all activities of daily living. Must have driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. HS Diploma or GED required.

Resident Aide: Full-time and part-time 2nd & 3rd shift positions available to assist with and teach independent living skills to children and adults with disabilities in relaxed, residential setting. Will be required to have the ability to lift 50 lbs. HS Diploma or GED required.
