Residential Center

HDC CenterFifty-four children and adults call the HDC Residential Center their home. Located in a neighborhood in northwest Davenport, the Residential Center provides intensive services to individuals who experience significant intellectual and/or physical disabilities.

Individuals are encouraged to be as independent as possible and to develop their abilities to the extent they are capable. They receive instruction in all areas of daily living, and they are assisted with participating in community activities like shopping and haircuts, as well as trips to activities such as festivals, concerts, museums, and public parks. Everyone attends either school or work during the day, depending on their age. HDC Res Center

Twenty-four hour nursing care is provided and people receive assistance from staff members who also provide speech, occupational, physical, and recreational therapies.

For more information regarding participation requirements, please contact the Residential Center at 563-386-3011 or e-mail the Vice President of ICF/MR Services at ljg@hdcmail.org.
