The Year's Highlights Achievements Participant Wages Wages paid to participants at HDC in this fiscal year totaled $284,315.
Subcontract Income Subcontract income from jobs completed in Employment Services reached an all-time high of $268,031.
DayHabilitation Services The DayHab program, a non-work option for adults, added an off-site option that included participation by 19 individuals. Volunteers Booster Organization Advocated for disability issues, raised community awareness, held parties for HDC participants, conducted fundraising activities to enhance programs and services.
HANDS Auxiliary Conducted a successful golf outing and auction fundraiser, served cookies to participants, had Next-to-New Sales.
HDC Board Provided direction and advice that launched the Capital Campaign, only the 3rd one in the Center's 38-year-history. Grants Received ALCOA Foundation $8,000 for Screenprint equipment including a dryer and embroidery machine computer and software
Riverboat Development Authority (RDA) $11,000 for Fire Code Updating at the Residential Center
Scott County Regional Authority (SCRA) $7,900 for lawn care equipment
Scott County Housing Council $3350 from RDA funds for carpet and appliances for group homes $6085 from RDA funds for kitchen remodeling $8250 from SCRA funds for a new boiler $5000 for bathroom remodeling
Knights of Columbus $7324 for physical therapy, recreation therapy, and workshop equipment, and wheelchair repairs.
Trinity Health Foundation $1253 for two pulse oximeters
St. Vincent's Home Corporation $1015 for "Knapsack of Knowledge" traveling educational kits for Respite Program
